Tayla Richman
Tayla has been a lifeguard at the Chinook City Pool for 4 years. Her love for swimming and wanting to pursue a career in the medical field inspired her to become a lifeguard. Tayla is currently attending school at Great Falls College MSU and she loves being able to work and learn from her fellow guards, who have been her best friends and mentors for the past four years. Tayla’s most memorable moment was during a thunder storm and while all the guards were sitting in the office, lightening struck the pool! The flash was so bright!
Tayla wishes that people understood that the rules at the pool are for a reason and they are in place to ensure the safety of every swimmer. One safety tip that every swimmer should know is floating on their back can save them from fatigue. Tayla’s favorite activity to do while she is not at work is catching up with her friends before she leaves for college. Tayla’s favorite snack is a veggie tray, having one at the pool on a hot day is a lifesaver!
